One of the 22 winners of the Réinventer Paris competition, London agency David Chipperfield Architects was chosen with Calq, Olafur Eliasson, Studio Other Spaces and Michel Desvigne for their rehabilitation of a Paris council building.
Entitled “Mixité Capitale”, the project announces a variety of programs: shops, market, swimming pool, fitness room, housing, hotel, office, nursery, youth hostels, etc. An open place to offer new facilities for neighbourhood residents.
An opportunity to discover a focus on David Chipperfield, published in AA #393 (January-February 2013) with an interview by Jonathan Glancey (The Guardian), the Neues Museum in Berlin, the (cancelled) project of Art Museum in Reims and many others.
