建設をダイナミックで実験的な創造のプロセスとして捉え、建築現場を「プロジェクトが本当に始まる」場所として、施工を重視している。また不完全さを許容し、建築資材の再利用を好む傾向も際立つ。
例えば倉庫を住宅兼陶芸工房に改築したプロジェクトでは、現場打ちに失敗したコンクリートですらデザインに組み込んでいる。

さらに構造を機能的要素としてだけでなく、建物の空間や美観を定義する不可欠な要素として捉える彼らは、コラージュを駆使して既存のコンテクストにデザインを統合。

環境負荷を低減し、新しいものと古いものの間に対話を生み出すような彼らの革新的建築アプローチに焦点を当てる。
